Transportation
For those arriving by plane

taxi company which offers a service (the Lancione) that goes from the airport passing by Murano island and the
You can also take a private
water taxi from the airport directly to your final destination (the cost
is abt. Euros 80,00) or you can take a land taxi
to Piazzale Roma (the cost is abt. Euros 27,00) and from there catch a public boat
(Vaporetto) to the stop closest
to your final destination (see details in the next paragraph).
For those arriving by train
at the Railway Station or by car at the parking garage at Piazzale Roma there are several possibilities. To
go directly to the “IstitutoVeneto di Scienze, Lettereed Arti” one can take the Vaporetto, Line 1 or Line 82 (every 10 minutes from
7:00 until 21:00; every 20/30 minutes afterwards) to
the stop Accademia. From there one has to cross the “Ponte dell'Accademia” and walk more or less directly to
Campo S. Stefano. To go to the Hotel Europa Regina,
on the other hand, one can also take the Vaporetto, Line 1 or Line 82, to the stop Calle Vallaresso, near Piazza San Marco. The Hotel is a five minute walk, more or less to the left,
over “Ponte San Moisč”.
You can also take a private
water taxi from the Railway Station to your final destination (the cost is
abt. Euros 45,00).

a copy of the Proceedings and the Lunches.
We very much regret that,
because of problems regarding structural stability and space, lunch may only
be served to those who participate in the Workshop.
