Transportation

For those arriving by plane at the Marco Polo Airport which is located about 13 km from Venice the easiest way to reach Venice is via sea taking a boat (Lancione), to the Air Terminal at the "Piazzetta San Marco". It costs abt. Lit. 17.000 and it takes abt. 1 hour 10 minutes. The Lancione connects with all flights.
The "Piazzetta San Marco" is at a walking distance from the "Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti" and the Hotel Europa & Regina.
For those arriving by train at the Railway Station or by car at the parking garage at Piazzale Roma there are several possibilities. To go directly to the "Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti" one can take the Vaporetto, Line 1 or Line 82 (every 10 minutes from 7:00 until 21:00; every 20/30 minutes afterwards) to the stop Accademia.
From there one has to cross the "Ponte dell'Accademia" and walk more-or-less directly to the Campo S. Stefano. To go to the Hotel Europa & Regina, on the other hand, one can also take the Vaporetto, Line 1 or Line 82, to the stop Calle Vallaresso, near Piazza San Marco. The Hotel is a five minute walk, more-or-less to the left, over the "Ponte San Moise'".

The Conference Fee is US Dollars 400 (Lit. 650.000). It includes a copy of the Proceedings, the Lunches and the Conference Dinner.
We very much regret that, because of problems regarding structural stability and space, lunch may only be served to those who participate in the Workshop.
As you know, the "Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti" is small and there were many more registrations than we had expected, consequently we have been obliged to refuse many people. We shall organize closed-circuit televisions in adjacent rooms.
The payment should be made by a check to the order of Neutrino Telescopes or by bank transfer to:

Please, make sure to quote your name clearly on the transfer slip and send or fax a copy of the receipt of the transfer order to Neutrino Telescopes Secretariat. Please, make sure that any overhead charged by the Bank is covered.
The Conference Fee can also be payed during Registration and can be made by Travellers Cheques or cash (no personal cheques or credit cards will be accepted).
