Twenty years after the Supernova 1987A discovery

 

will be held in Venice at the “Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti”, Palazzo Franchetti- Campo S. Stefano, on  March6-9, 2007.

General Information

The Twelfth International Workshop on: “Neutrino Telescopes”  will take place in Venice, on March 6-9, 2007 at the “Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti”, Palazzo Franchetti – Campo S. Stefano. The Istituto Veneto is located near Piazza San Marco.
The Workshop will be mainly based on review talks followed by extensive discussions.
The total  attendence will be limited to  about 120 people. Participation is by invitation only.

Accommodation

Venice in March is particularly attractive and the situation concerning hotel accommodation is always very tight. We have made arrangements with the Hotel Europa & Regina for a certain  number of rooms to be set aside at reduced rates for the participants. The Europa & Regina is a topclass Hotel, situated on the Grand Canal, about a five minute walk from the Piazza San Marco and close to the  “Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti”. We will be sending a Reservation Request Form soon.


Schedule of the Workshop

The Workshop will start on Tuesday, March 6, at 9:30 and will end on Friday, March 9,  in the evening.
The Registration Desk (at the Workshop Site) will be open on Monday from 15:00 until 18:00.
The Sessions will take place from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to about 19:00, with a lunch break.  At the “Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti”, during the break, the lunch will be served to the participants.
There will also be the customary coffee breaks in the morning and in the afternoon.


Registration and Conference Fee

The Pre-Registration Form is attached: those wishing to participate in the XII Neutrino Telescopes Workshop are requested to fill it and return it no later than November 4, 2006.
The Conference Fee is Euros 500 and covers: the Lunches, the Conference materials, a copy of the Proceedings, the Coffee Breaks, the Social Activities, the Conference Dinner and the Farewell Party.
